Meet Dan Rodriguez
Success isn't measured by how many times you win—it's measured by how you respond when life throws its biggest challenges your way.
Dan Rodriguez has spent more than four decades building businesses, entertaining audiences, and helping others discover what's possible through perseverance, positive thinking, and a willingness to keep moving forward.
A Story of Achievement, Perseverance & Inspiration
Dan Rodriguez was raised in Denver, Colorado, in a middle-class home. His parents divorced when he was young. Like many children who experience parental divorce, young Dan feared that maybe he was the reason for his parents' separation.
Those early years could have been filled with doubt and confusion—but not Dan.
From an early age, he surrounded himself with positive mentors who taught him the value of positive thinking, goal-setting, and thinking big. Through their encouragement, Dan came to accept his parents' separation and embraced a philosophy that continues to guide his life today:
"It's much better to plan to over-achieve and accept the praise than to underachieve and look for pity."
And over-achieve he did.

"Dan possesses great talent and insight."

A Lifetime of Entrepreneurial Success
By age 18, Dan purchased his first apartment building and wrote the first of his three books.
By age 21, he was a full-time professional magician, presenting nearly 400 shows each year.
By age 31, he became National President of The Society of American Magicians, the oldest and most prestigious entertainment magic organization in the world.
By age 32, Dan purchased the first of eight McDonald's Restaurant franchises.
Over the next three decades, his entrepreneurial success expanded into additional franchise brands, real estate investments, and executive leadership, including serving as the CEO of a major Chamber of Commerce.
Every Success Comes with Setbacks
Looking at Dan's accomplishments, it would be easy to call him the "Home Run King" of business.
But as Dan often shares during his presentations:
"Business is a lot like baseball. For every home run, there are plenty of strikeouts."
He refers to what he calls the Babe Ruth Analogy.
Although Babe Ruth hit 714 home runs, he was equally known for holding the record with 1,330 strikeouts.
Success isn't built by avoiding failure.
It's built by learning from it.
Dan understands this firsthand.
Alongside his business successes, he also experienced addiction, depression, and bankruptcy—not once, but three times.
Those experiences didn't define him.
They shaped him.
They became the foundation for the lessons he now shares with audiences across the country.

A Message That Connects
Wherever your attendees are in their personal journey or business career, Dan's story is one of achievement, perseverance, resilience, and inspiration.
His presentations aren't based on theory.
They're built on lessons learned through decades of real-life experience, entrepreneurial success, personal challenges, and meaningful connections with people.
Beyond the Stage
When he's not speaking or performing, Dan enjoys:
Traveling the world with Manon, his wife of 40 years.
Spending time with his children and grandchildren
Playing the Drums, Ukulele, and Pedal Steel Guitar
Practicing and performing magic
Volunteering for charitable efforts in his community
